Studious Gigi LLC is the data controller for personal data collected through Studious Gigi. This notice explains what we collect and why.

What we collect and why

• Account data (email, display name, login credentials) — to create and run your account (contract).
• Your questions and Gigi's answers, chat messages, and poll votes — to provide the service and enforce question limits (contract).
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages used) — for security, fraud prevention, and improving the product (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to help you (contract / legitimate interests).

Payment details are collected by Stripe, not by us.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host the app, store data, and run the AI that powers Gigi.
• Stripe, our payment provider, for the sale of memberships, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) when needed.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is open and as needed for legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Contact us to use these rights, and you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level permissions so members can only see their own private data.

Cookies

We use only essential storage needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
